Merger[edit]

So two of us independently created The Legend of Korra (action video game) and The Legend of Korra (video game) at the same time. I think it's obvious that we need to merge them, but where to? As the creator of the first article, I'm partial to its title :-) because it's less ambiguous, given that there's another game in development.  Sandstein  18:24, 26 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I would make the console article the main (video game), but the 3DS one to "The Legend of Korra (3DS video game)" ViperSnake151  Talk  18:33, 26 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
There's something to that, but the "action" title is already linked from in various places. Any third opinions?  Sandstein  07:20, 27 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
We could also go with The Legend of Korra (Platinum Games), I guess. I think I prefer the "(action video game)" title though, as it, like Sandstein says, is less ambiguous. But really, I think we should just get the merge done already. Moving to a different title can be done at any point, but it's undesirable to have two articles about the same subject for longer periods of time as people may start adding different content to the two articles, making it more of a task to merge them together. OK, I've performed the merger, with the article currently at The Legend of Korra (action video game). I suppose we can still discuss the best title.  Sandstein  15:25, 27 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It's possible that this 3DS title will not even be notable. For the time being, the article should sit without "action" in the title per the naming conventions ("action" is an unnecessary disambiguator). If the page splits out to multiple versions, that can be handled then czar  12:25, 28 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Turns out the 3DS game has a subtitle, so I guess there's nothing in the way of moving the Platinum Games article to the "(video game)" title now.IDVtalk 03:45, 29 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed and done.  Sandstein  05:53, 8 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
