Defunct?[edit]

The store doesn't actually count as being defunct, does it? All of the physical locations are closing, but as of now, they're still saying that the website will stay in business. Alphius (talk) 20:10, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Or is the website only staying in business for now as a "going out of business" sort of thing? Even if that's how it actually is, the "defunct" date is still incorrect and can't be definitively determined yet. Alphius (talk) 20:13, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Immigration Status of Bella Cabakoff[edit]

This page says "Bella Cabakoff emigrated from Russia." The L_Brands pages say "Bella Cabakoff was born in Williamsburg, Brooklyn." Someone needs to check her immigration status. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yintercept (talkcontribs) 16:56, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

We needed to check her biographical info, not her immigration status.
The info on this page was unsourced (the nearest cited source said absolutely nothing about Bella Cabakoff). I've replaced it with a brief statement using the source from L Brands. - SummerPhDv2.0 17:14, 7 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring IP[edit]

An IP is removing content from the article about the Belk going bankrupt, despite the fact that The Limited is sold exclusively at belk. Rusty4321 talk contribs 15:22, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This definitely seems to be about Belk, it's reaching to say it has anything to do with the Limited 174.215.220.59 (talk) 22:45, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not only have I reverted you, several others have as well, proving I'm not the only one thinking so. Let's not edit any further as I've requested for a third opinion. Rusty4321 talk contribs 00:24, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hello Rusty4321. The dispute is between more than two editors and so isn't eligible for 3OR. I requested semi-protection of the article due to persistent disruption. Cheers Polyamorph (talk) 07:28, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    Please also note that Ponyo has blocked the IP for block evasion. They're a dynamic IP, so they might come back, in which case you can re-request page protection at WP:RPP once the current protection expires. Polyamorph (talk) 08:04, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    @Polyamorph: Thanks! I had a feeling that it was disruption but didn't want to violate 3RR. Rusty4321 talk contribs 22:50, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
