London[edit]

I saw the 1980s London at some shopping mall when I was a kid. From what I recall, there was London, and then a bunch of London clones that were used as stand-ins, possibly siblings. 70's Show[edit]

The statue that appeared in that episode was just a small, human homeless person (hence calling it the littlest hobo). Does this really have to do with the Dog known as the Littlest Hobo?

I am not going to edit this page myself as I do not have any reliable source of information, but I beleive that in the 1980's series, The Littlest Hobo did in fact have a partially golden coat, so somebody may want to affirm this and change the Corner Gas tribute... Apparently the publisher and/or distributor of Little Hobo DVD is VCi. Ending[edit]

Okay, buck 45 mentioned on his radio show that the littlest hobo was revealed to be an alien in the last episode of the most recent series. Does anyone know if this is true?--Matt D (talk) 08:59, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That would be mental. The last epsiode of series 6 has the Hobo shipwrecked on an Alaskan island [1]. Maybe he's got mixed up with Benji, Zax & the Alien Prince?

Haven't seen the last episode of the sixth season but I believe the above poster isn't quite right. In the sixth season two part episode "Voyageurs" Hobo and a Canadian family get shipwrecked on an island with a Russian test pilot somewhere between Russia and I assume Alaska but the episode ends with everyone being rescued. The Canadians and Hobo go one one rescue boat and the Russian goes on another rescue boat. Hobo is rescued and we can pretend without hesitation that he goes on the help more people in need when he returns to Canada and the US and maybe elsewhere...DJParker39 (talk) 00:37, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Is London the dog dead or alive?[edit]

That is so sad. Yeah I'm sure they are all dead now.

As for the 70's series. A friend of mind saw the filming of the first episode. It was in Toronto on McCaul Street where you see London comes out of the basement of a house/building (which use to be an art supply store btw. Dont know if it still is). The small building is behind the Ontario Art Gallery. All the dogs from all the seperate series/movie were great. (May they all Rest In Peace now.)

The Genesis Tapes[edit]

I revised the original entry under Hobo's origin after watching both episodes of The Genesis Tapes (thanks CTV for airing them!). I wasn't keen on the idea that Hobo was some genetic mutation, either natural or man made as the original entry had seemed to indicate there was no doubt on the issue with this episode. The scientist and the reporter in the episode are theorizing and there's no definitive proof either one or way the other as to what Hobo is. Thus, Hobo can still be what you want him to be, unknown force for good or genetic evolution of the dog - the main part the story did not give a definitive answer and Hobo's origins are still unresolved - a good thing in my books. The thing is, in part 2, Hobo lures away the story's main human characters, and uses a tape eraser to erase evidence of his existence. Regardless of origin, would that not suggest at least some sort of supercanine intelligence? Most dogs in the real world wouldn't know to do that nor would they have a resson to want to erase a tape. Info needed for lead image[edit]

Since here were two distinct Littlest Hobo series, the lead image of the DVD box should specify if it's a UK TV release of the 1960s series or the 1970s series. It's difficult to tell given that the box cover quotes the theme song from the 1970s version, so this could be a release of the remake. 136.159.160.8 (talk) 19:46, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
