Marking the request as  Already done by Bovineboy above. For the record the IP, Bovineboy, and $uperFan32 (who's also re-added the category) seem to me to be in the right here. —Nizolan (talk · c.) 22:47, 18 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The caption for the poster was supposed to say "Teaser poster with original release date". 216.154.40.40 (talk) 23:21, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Teaser poster[edit]

Are we sure that's the actual, official teaser poster? Pretty sure that's a fanmade poster that randomly popped up on IMDB. --Teleram (talk) 18:11, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In the plot summary, the last paragraph reads that Dickie reconnects with “Bruno” not Guiseppina. Then the name Bruno is misapplied a few more times. That’s it. Browniemountain (talk) 07:02, 2 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Already fixed. Bruno is not used in the credits and first names should be used anyway in this case. Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 18:13, 2 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There is no evidence from the actor Joey Diaz or the Director or writer the he played Pussy father. Buddha is a stand alone character.

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 17:50, 4 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

What is the meaning of the title? Why "saints", and why "many"? Thanks, Maikel (talk) 12:17, 7 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The Italian surname "Moltisanti" translates to "many saints" in English ([1]). This probably could be added to the article. Drovethrughosts (talk) 12:22, 7 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! Well, d'uh, could have thought of that myself. Please add to the article. Maikel (talk) 13:19, 7 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Second half: 1971 or 1972?[edit]

The transition scene between the 1967 portion and the early 70s opens with Dickie asking if Teenage Tony had seen "Dirty Harry." They go back and forth quoting the famous line, "Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?" "Dirty Harry" was released December 23, 1971 yet the scene take place in warmer weather with the trees in full bloom and everyone dressed for warm weather. So it has been argued that the second half of the film begins in early 1972 at least, not 1971. Johnny Soprano was arrested, convicted and sentenced (fast huh?) in the summer of 67 to no more than 5 years. The narration says 4 years later. Early 1972 can still be 4 years later when JS gets out. David Chase was saying 1971 in promotional interviews but he doesn't seem to pay attention to or care about details now. Just trying to get the timeline straight. Michael Gandolfini did not only Appear in the Many Saints Of Newark, he played a major part “Tony Soprano” in his youth; Michael is also James Gandolfini’s actual son. 2600:4041:55B8:C900:3802:FF5F:89AA:57F5 (talk) 04:32, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This show's reception section is entirely street-teamed by the studio.[edit]

People hated this movie and the constant attempt to protect the page conceals this. Wikipedia loses credibility by the year lol 47.205.68.181 (talk) 21:30, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
