[Untitled][edit]

Should we move "Trademark catch-phrases" and "nicknames" from Mike Malloy to this page? The information would probably be more appropriate under the show information page rather than the bio page. Thoughts? Pumpkin Pi 19:02, 6 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Current Event Toggle[edit]

Since there's little information yet on Malloy's termination at AAR, marked this as a current event. More than likely there will need to be additional edits as details become available about the events of 30 Aug 2006. RoboNerd 11:21, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, good thinking. Today's edit to the original message on mike's site, implies that possibly news sources will pick this story up. We should keep our eyes open for details. Pumpkin Pi 02:05, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Current Event title back due to Nova M Radio deal today. Pumpkin Pi 03:54, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

To merge or not to Merge[edit]

I support a merge. What do the rest of you think? Piercetp 04:16, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am fine either way. Debivort 04:42, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think that while this article overlaps with Mike Malloy quite a bit, it also contains new and fairly helpful information such as the affiliate table. If these items are acceptable in a biography article, a merge would probably be a good idea, but otherwise I think the articles should stay separate. Could you clarify the rules for a Wikipedia biography? Pumpkin Pi 19:56, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
After 7 months, there's no further action on the merge proposal. There appears to be no consensus to merge, and nobody actively pursuing it. If someone wants to reopen the discussion, fine. But I'm removing the merge proposal banner for now. Ipoellet (talk) 21:32, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is he notable for anything other than the radio show? Nothing currently in the Mike Malloy article suggests that he is. So if all he is known for is being the host of the radio show — that is, if his notability derives from its — there should be only one article that covers both. (An old comment at his article's talk page says that WP policy gives talk show hosts two articles, one for themself and one for their show. Is that right? Seems pretty screwy.) 66.28.247.235 (talk) 23:56, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Affiliates[edit]

The Affiliates table implies that show is "broadcast" live, but some of the stations are off-the-air at the times shown. Shouldn't the table reflect the truth? i.e., that the show is not broadcast on the radio frequency shown, but rather, it's only "Internet-broadcast" at those times. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.102.38.38 (talk) 17:36, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Outdated Material[edit]

This article needs to be updated, e.g., Malloy isn't on WCPT anymore. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.175.127.171 (talk) 16:21, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Way, way, way out of date[edit]

Malloy has been banished from SiriusXM live. He is now on tape delay from midnight-3 am ET. DavidSteinle (talk) 18:34, 5 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Church Night[edit]

I added a new sub-heading under show features to reflect his general program that he now has on Wednesday nights. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.83.41.48 (talk) 21:40, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
