The Official ChartThe Official Chart with Greg James – Show is primarily known as this. The article could be moved once Scott Mills takes over if it becomes known as that. Similar example at Live with Kelly and Ryan where the article is moved whenever there is a change of hosts. TheDoctorWho (talk) 00:54, 2 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose – I can understand why you would want to move it with the host's name, but the name of the article is simple enough. On a related subject, when it comes to the American equivalent, American Top 40 has had many hosts besides Ryan Seacrest and the article is not called "American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest". Just having the words "The Official Chart" is simply enough in this case, especially since its mostly referred to as the chart show when talking to others around the UK, not "The Official Chart with Greg James". Just "The Official Chart" is most recognizable. JE98 (talk) 02:47, 2 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose – The more concise title seems precise and common enough. Dicklyon (talk) 14:54, 4 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. It's existed since 1967, long before Greg James was even born! -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:46, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Playing of 'banned' tracks[edit]

Needs a note that top 20 tracks were not played in some cases because the BBC considered them to be unsuitable for broadcast. Examples may have included God Save the Queen by the Sex Pistols, and Relax by Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Martinlc (talk) 21:38, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
