Title should be "(novel)" not "(King novel)"[edit]

There are several novels with that title. Sundayclose (talk) 17:31, 23 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

similarity to The Dark Half[edit]

The set up of The Outside is virtually the same as in King's The Dark Half. An innocent man is seemingly exonerated by a perfect, irrefutable alibi despite being "framed" by perfect, seemingly irrefutable evidence, including fingerprints in particular.

An evil doppelganger has committed a terrible crime . . . etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:18A:8301:A3C0:F0D4:E10F:BEF6:1802 (talk) 01:59, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

What's your point? Sundayclose (talk) 17:32, 23 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Holly Gibney series?[edit]

I am puzzled as to how this novel has been designated part of the "Holly Gibney series". Gibney is a character in five of King's works, but three of those are the Bill Hodges trilogy. Who decided that The Outsider and the novella If It Bleeds are part of a "series"? Has King used this description? Has it been identified as the Holly Gibney series by numerous critics? Or is this just one Wikipedia editor's decision? Sundayclose (talk) 02:11, 25 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Story origin[edit]

Is there any info on King's origin of the creature? I just watched a video on missing 411 stuff and there's a story that fits the baddie from the story to a tee. A real life example.Halbared (talk) 18:05, 24 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
