Comment[edit]

This page is not for the film but for the play; so I have removed the boxes describing this as a film. The film is listed under The Plough and the Stars (film) Dozenthey (talk) 03:20, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Priorities[edit]

Isn't this the play where the woman screams and whinges at her ICA fella to forget about Ireland and to look after his family. And he responds something like 'Go f@ck yourself, I'm off to fight for Ireland' (my rough translation, of course)? Classic. That man is my hero. PS: If somebody knows the plot and character names that would be a good addition. 86.42.119.12 (talk) 09:59, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • A student has a rough draft of things to add to the article, but I don't think that they'll be back to do it. I'm going to link this here in case someone wants to look through and add any pertinent information: User:Emeraldhutton/sandbox. Speaker[edit]

The speaker at the window is usually identified with Patrick Pearse, but are his words based particularly closely on what Pearse actually said? PatGallacher (talk) 18:56, 15 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
