  • ... that The Pragmatic Entente: Israeli–Iranian Relations, 1948–1988 is a book on the complex and ever-changing relationship between Israel and Iran?

    • Comment: "The Pragmatic Entente: Israeli–Iranian Relations, 1948–1988" is the first comprehensive work on the long-standing yet ever-changing relationship between Israel and Iran. This book is written by Rob Sobhani, Iranian-American and Assistant Professor of International Relations at Georgetown University.

  • The article is certainly new enough and long enough, but there's nothing interesting about the hook. You're just telling us what the book is. Why not tell us something about the conclusions the author reached? – PeeJay 10:41, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: Just wanted to quickly point out that this article seems to have major neutrality issues. For example: This book has legitimized the Zionist vicious activities against Islamic and Arab countries. This phrasing is not acceptable, especially written in wikivoice. I have tagged the article; @Championmin this needs to be fixed for a DYK appearance. --LordPeterII (talk) 15:14, 17 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment again: The creator had removed my maintance template as resolved after removing the word "vicious". @Championmin this is not sufficient. Please read WP:NPOV again and then check against that section. WP:WIKIVOICE might also be helpful. This article will not be promoted until you rewrite that entire section. It might be a lot easier if you also included some non-Persian reviews, as neutrality is rarely achieved looking just at one side, as valid as their opinions may be. --LordPeterII (talk) 23:35, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Nominator hasn't edited since the 28th and has not addressed the article issues despite the message here. Given that the neutrality tag is back, there doesn't seem to be a path forward for this nomination at this time. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 14:14, 3 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • The Critique section is translated based on the available sources and its nature cannot be changed. There is no insistence on nomination. Championmin (talk) 06:39, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Championmin: I am surprised because you seem an experienced editor, but I am going to point to WP:WIKIVOICE again. Even if the reviewer thought the book "garbage", you cannot state that opinion as if it was a fact. –LordPickleII (talk) 09:51, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@LordPeterII: The nominator hasn't edited since their comment above. Is there still anything that can be done here? Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 01:22, 15 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Narutolovehinata5: No, I think not. I only wanted to explain why I put the template there; but if they don't understand, this nom should be closed. –LordPeterII (talk) 20:23, 15 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
