Page title[edit]
I created this page at The Prom (2020 film) because The Prom (film) redirects to Flawless (2018 film). Should this page be moved over the redirect? ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:42, 25 June 2019 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: Moot. The mainspace page was moved back to draft per the result of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Prom (2020 film). The question of the most appropriate name can be taken up again when/if the draft is ready for mainspace. RL0919 (talk) 19:37, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
The Prom (2020 film) → The Prom (film) – Currently, The Prom (film) redirects to Flawless (2018 film), but I'm not exactly sure why. Wondering if The Prom (film) should be occupied by this new article. Thanks! --Another Believer (Talk) 21:44, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
- I think the native Hebrew title of the other film may translate as "The Prom" but I'm not sure if it's used as an alternative title per se; Lugnuts might know. Bearing in mind that this article is now at AfD as well, it may not matter though. PC78 (talk) 23:02, 25 June 2019 (UTC)
- I'm 99% sure The Prom was an alt. title for the Israeli film, but I'm fine for the redirect to be changed and/or deleted. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 06:33, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
- The Hebrew film title הנשף = The prom. (see https://he.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D7%94%D7%A0%D7%A9%D7%A3). That's why "The Prom (film)" redirects to Flawless (2018 film), the English-language title release. Pyxis Solitary yak 07:09, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
@RL0919: Does this need to be closed as well? ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:29, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, but it takes a few minutes to make sure I do it correctly because I rarely close requested moves. :-) --RL0919 (talk) 19:37, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
