Essay[edit]

I wrote a new summary of the essay, to replace the "table of contents" that was here before. Feel free to improve it (I'm leaving the "stub" tag for now).

The essay itself does not seem to have any section headings, so I think the "contents" listing was created by the website referenced at the bottom of the page. It wasn't particularly informative on its own, so I removed it. -Rbean 22:03, 1 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is it just me going nuts, or does not this article entirely contradict the Weber thesis that "protestantism" (per Weber definition) gave rise to capitalism? Rursus 21:55, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
