Fair use rationale for Image:The Punisher 1989.jpg[edit]

Image:The Punisher 1989.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:49, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bertrand Crawley[edit]

The trivia section has gotten pruned. I think it is fair to at least mention the similarity between Bertrand Crawley (who debuted about ten years before this film came out at least and already spoke in the cultured way he retains to this day) and Shake.

Although Shake, the informant who aids Castle in this film, was not a character from the published series, there was a similar character in the Moon Knight series called Bertrand Crawley whom he resembled. Like Shake, Crawley was a transient alchoholic who nevertheless spoke in a very cultured and articulate manner (e.g. "Could it be this unveiling forebodes the return of the Lunar Legionnaire?").

Bias[edit]

Is it just me, or is this whole article written in a very biased way? I think we need a rewrite by someone who has seen the movie and knows it rather well. GeneticInsanity (talk) 01:14, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Biased in what way? Please provide more information. Freikorp (talk) 00:25, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Reception[edit]

  • Why does a statement in the Reception section that has no source to it being allowed there? I mean the other reviews do, so shouldn’t that one as well? Common sense at wiki or one of the rules at wikipedia (to which so-called Administrators can’t even do or enforce) would think if there is no source link[1] to such a statement, it shouldn’t be allowed and therefore reverted. The only red link is to an actor that nobody is going to be making an article too any time soon.75.49.7.40 (talk) 03:50, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's all conjecture on your part. It looks like a legit quote, so what we do there, as I did, is to cite-tag it, instead of editwarring like a WP:DICK, which you did.--Chris (クリス • フィッチ) (talk) 01:38, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
