Show supposedly has been canceled. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.56.64.138 (talk) 20:07, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

Salahi gatecrash info

I've restored the removed Salahi White House gatecrash info, which another user had removed "as per the article's AfD discussion". At the time of that edit in the AFD discussion, there was very little discussion about whether the Salahi info should be removed from the article, and in fact there were more keep votes than anything else. I don't agree with all the various Salahi-related articles popping up on Wikipedia, but you can't argue that the whole gatecrash incident is related to this show, and that means it should be interwoven with the article to at least some extent. Rather than removing it from the article in the middle of an AFD discussion, I think the best solution would be to wait until the AFD is done. If the result is keep, there should be further discussion here on the talk page in order to come up with a proper consensus. — Hunter Kahn (c) 23:11, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

Personally I don't feel The Gate Crashing Incident needs to be mentioned here beyond describing Michaele as a gate crasher. There are plenty of other articles that describe it in detail. I didn't remove paragraph that per AfD, I removed it because IMHO it is not germane or relevant to this article beyond a adjective about Michaele. However, if feel you you must keep the paragraph about the incident, then you need to rewrite the paragraph so it is about the show and not about Salahis: "The show spent the day filming the Salahis preparation, followed her to XXX salon, and then followed the couple to the White House gates." scooteristi (talk) 16:23, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

Fans of the Show Please

Seems as if someone has the Salahis' backs, and doesn't want bad publicity, trying to keep their "crashing incident" off the page . I however feel that Bravo made this a selling point as to why you should watch the show, therefore the incident should most definitely be mentioned. Just a little opinion from an avid viewer!Skbrown1 (talk) 18:57, 3 October 2010 (UTC)Skbrown1 (talk) 18:57, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

Agree completely. Also, the text in Ms. Salahi's entry apparently keeps changing and some IP editors are removing or spinning information. Also, edits have been made to Tareq Salahi and 2009 White House gatecrash incident. Best to keep an eye out. Saebvn (talk) 22:45, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

Michaele - Deleted Paragraph

Regarding the diff below, this paragraph has gone back and forth. I am going to attempt to find cites now. Saebvn (talk) 15:23, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

I am going to reinstate the paragraph with cites. Saebvn (talk) 15:24, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
There is absolutely no reason to reinstate that paragraph. Bravo has denied that they have come to any decisions about season 2. At this point, all you would be doing is inserting gossip from unnamed sources in violation of our policy on biographies of living persons. AniMate 15:32, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
I disagree. I have inserted some cites. However, I will defer to your judgment on the matter. If you wish to delete the offending paragraph, please do so and I will not revert. I did remove one speculative sentence. Saebvn (talk) 15:35, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
We can't cite unnamed sources, especially when the network has specifically denied the allegations. Since the show hasn't even been renewed yet, I think we can hold off on speculation about who is or isn't returning. AniMate 15:38, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
No problem. Thanks for your review. Saebvn (talk) 15:41, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Michaele Salahi, again

I just noticed a factoid in an AP wirestory about Dr. Drew Pinsky, which mentions in passing that Salahi had been a participant of the 5th season of his "Celebrity Rehab", only to be "kicked off when it became apparent she wasn't addicted to anything." Too bad there is no longer a separate article about her, because this one anecdote -- for which a reliable source could easily be found -- succinctly explains so much about her. -- llywrch (talk) 14:16, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
