synopsis[edit]

Based on the stories of Isaac Bashevis Singer, THE REAL SCHLEMIEL tells the story of a young boy named Aaron, who ventures with his pet goat, Zlateh, to stay in the village of Chelm with his Uncle Schlemiel, Aunt Sarah, and their three daughters. At the same time, an evil sorcerer has stolen a sacred book from the Chelmites, and conjured up a Golem, a gigantic beast, with the intention of taking over the work. Aaron sets out on a comical and heroic odyssey to foil the wizard's plans. This animated family musical features songs with music by Michel Legrand and words by Sheldon Harnick (THE FIDDLER ON THE ROOF). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Albertoexpress (talkcontribs) 12:22, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I had to remove what you added to the article body since it is copyrighted. We can either quote the synopsis (since it came from elsewhere) or rewrite it in our own words, but either approach requires a citation. See WP:NFCC#Acceptable use and WP:NFCC#Unacceptable use.
