Neutrality[edit]

"As always, race relations were a central issue. However, a new approach was taken this time, as Karamo, a black man, was the most racist person on the show. He was raised to mistrust white people, and must come to terms with the multiracial occupants of his new house. With the help of Shavonda, a "coconut", he began to learn to be more racially tolerant."

My English teacher always taught me to avoid words such as all, most, and none. I think this sentence is POV, as we don't know if he was the most racist. MJ and Landon both displayed racist attitudes at some point in the show. Ryan 17:28, August 3, 2005 (UTC)

Image:RWPhiladelphiaCast.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Thanks for adding material about the house. However, you did not provide a source supporting the material you added about the producers, unions, mayor and governor brokering a deal, as the two sources you inserted into that section do not appear to mention this. And despite this and other unsourced information, you removed the unreferenced tag at the top of the article. I restored the tag, and added more section and passage-specific ones detailing the need for sources. Also, the article on the culture of Philadelphia does not mention The Real World, so I replaced that with the one on Cultural Depictions of Philadelphia, since that article does mention it, and seems a bit more relevant. sexual orientation[edit]

I believe a WP:RS is still needed for "his religious parents don't accept his sexual orientation". The source states that "his religious parents don't accept his lifestyle", which does not support this statement. There is a big difference between being gay and living a gay lifestyle. I understand the need to avoid plagiarism, but I do not feel the paraphrased statement is entirely accurate. In addition, if I recall correctly, his parents objected to much more about his lifestyle than simply the fact that he is gay. Thanks. Plastikspork (talk) 02:02, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
