Five female cast members[edit]

Most Real World seasons have three guys and four girls, or vice versa. If there are five girls in the Portland house (Anastasia, Averey, Jessica, Joi and Nia), this implies that one of them is a replacement after another girl either quit the show on her own or was kicked out of the house for reasons that will be revealed when the season airs on MTV at a later date. WITHOUT LOOKING AT SPOILERS (from Vevmo), it is unknown as to which one of the girls is a replacement cast member until the official site is launched on MTV.com.

My client, Nia Moore's bio is included under the list of cast mates for the upcoming season of MTV's The Real World: Portland. I wanted to change a few things that are no longer representative. She is a writer, model, actress and former online writer for NBC Universal. (No longer a cocktail waitress) Originally from Los Angeles, CA now living in Atlanta, GA She did play volleyball at Howard University and graduated in 2011. (That is already accurately noted!) She was named one of Jezebel Magazine's Most Eligible Atlantans of the 2012 issue and graced the centerfold spread. She also appeared as a winning contestant on the premier episode of FOX's "The Choice" in the summer of 2012. Was she a waitress at the time she was cast on the show?

Season premiere likely in March 2013[edit]

It looks like The Real World: Portland may not premiere (on MTV) until at least March 2013. MTV just announced that Washington Heights will premiere on Wednesday, January 9, 2013—the same time slot that is normally occupied by either The Real World or The Challenge. Washington Heights will air 11 episodes over a 10-week span. Therefore, it looks like March 20, 2013 will be the earliest date that we can expect The Real World: Portland to premiere, with the first trailer likely showing on MTV.com within a month before the premiere date.
