Blatant plagarism[edit]

After looking at the Thermals own bio (http://www.thethermals.com/home.html), I found that the general heading and the history section are a direct rip, down to the letter. Personally, I don't have the resources to rewrite the entire history section, though I will change the heading. Should this be deleted anyway? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sas556 (talkcontribs) 18:34, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I'm going to delete this section, better to have nothing than plagarism Sas556 (talk) 04:38, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Problems in intro[edit]

I know nothing about this band, I just happened across it while browsing Category:Oregon musical groups. That said, the intro seems to contradict itself with "Original guitarist Ben Barnett (...) left shortly after More Parts per Million was released in 2003, reverting guitar duties back to Hutch". Which is it? Was Ben Barnett the original guitarist or was Hutch? If it was Ben then it follows that guitar duties did not "revert" to anyone.

The quotation from WW probably should be cited too. --Zytsef 06:31, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pitchfork Media published that the two remaining members, Hutch Harris and Kathy Foster are currently nottoo invested in finding a replacement drummer. They are now performing under their former name, Hutch and Kathy, for the Portland State's KPSU radio benefit. They will be performing all new songs, some of which may reportedly be on the next Thermals album, indicating that The Thermals is still together and that their performance under Hutch and Kathy does not indicate a break-up. Picture[edit]

The current picture (File:Thermals Candid3.jpg) is incorrect; I saw the band live a few days ago, and there is a new drummer, as seen in this recent photo. However, I am completely & utterly rubbish at both uploading photos and getting the correct free-use rationales, so could someone please find a suitable photo and upload it? Thanks, GiantSnowman 17:38, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That picture-stuff is easy, just take the advanced search on flickr, check the three boxes at the bottom (the Creative-Commons-stuff), and use one of the tools for uploading. However, I do not think a picture being dated means it must be replaced; a proper description would be sufficient, IMHO. --NoCultureIcons (talk) 01:00, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
