resistance to what?[edit]

"inspired by his father’s private diaries starting from when he was a resistance fighter in 1948" - Reistance to what? There were two sides fighting, and neither reffered to itself as "The Resistance". I think that a proper way to phrase this sentence would be to mention that Suleiman's father fought along side the Palestinians, against the israelis.--77.124.56.35 (talk) 15:10, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
