September 2014[edit]

I see a bit of warring over the content this month. Please discuss things here. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 22:35, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Bracket[edit]

There appear to be two issues. One is whether the seeds should be on the entries in the bracket, and the other is the order. I believe that Gsfelipe94, after starting the bracket with no seeding order (edit of: 04:42, 11 September 2014‎ Gsfelipe94 (talk | contribs)‎ . . (7,515 bytes) (+1,509)‎ . . (undo | thank)), is now trying to match what he sees on the bracket graphic given on the TV show (he said in an edit summary comment that "Markos should be on the bottom " - the show in their right bracket of 8 has 3/14 at the bottom). But that cannot be done. The TV show graphic has a double-sided bracket, with eight fighters on the left and eight on the right, while Wikipedia only allows a one-sided bracket for all 16 fighters. In a 16 person bracket, #1 goes in the contest at the top and #2 goes in the contest at the bottom, etc. At this point I only see Gsfelipe94 supporting no-seeds and non-standard 16 person seeding bracket. While myself (Wickorama), Sly0981, and NAKasper91 have supported the seeds and traditional 16 person seeding order. Wickorama (talk) 03:04, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with Wickorama. I was thinking about the college basketball tournament brackets. The 2 seed is always at the bottom. Also we all know this season is different than all the rest since the fighters are seeded. To me it makes since to show them on the bracket. 29 September 2014 (sly0981)
