Is prnewswire.com an RS?[edit]

From what I can determine, prnewswire.com is a website that exists solely to offer press releases to the mainstream news. I may be wrong, but it seems to me that that doesn't qualify as a reliable secondary source. Can anyone elucidate?HubcapD 18:13, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It would be subject to the statements at WP:SELFPUB.
