Untitled[edit]

This page should be nominated for deletion. This show is just filler for Channel 10 to fulfil it's "Australian TV" content and make a little extra cash on the side through mobile phone usage. It's Z-list celebrity will probably not make it to Y-list. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Elwyn5150 (talkcontribs)

no, he's up for a logie.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.2.218.145 (talkcontribs)
The show is still going strong. Almost a year later too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.237.177.27 (talkcontribs)
Only scripted drama programs, and only programs shown during prime time count towards local content. Asa01 08:38, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Somebody should probably document whats happened over the past few weeks, where hotdogs has been basically fired on air, and has repeatedly given away answers and swore, with some swearing even bypassing the censor. tonights show (21st april) Will be the last show, and hotdogs made several references to "something special" he has planned for tonights show. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.253.3.65 (talkcontribs)

If he was fired on-air, how come he continued on the show? Swearing is allowed on TV at late late hour. Asa01 08:44, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
ba·si·cal·ly wPronunciation Key (bs-k-l, -kl)
adv.
1. In a basic way; fundamentally or essentially: Throughout the ordeal, he remained basically the same.
2. For the most part; chiefly: They basically do what they are supposed to.
Ahem.
Clearly you never saw any of the unfolding drama over the last week or so of the show, including but not limited to:
- A 30 second long censors beep while hotdogs sat in his chair continouly swearing.
- Hotdogs proclaiming his producer a "f-wit" due to the difficulty of one of the puzzles.
- Hotdogs singing "I've been saaaaacked"
- Hotdogs standing in silence for almost 40 seconds, ending by shaking his head and saying "whoa..did I just blank out"
- Telling the television audience on several occasions what the show director was saying in his ear, one such quote being "Your fired" after he gave away an answer to a contestant.
- Completely disregarding the show structure to sit down and tell the audience how the shows management is like the Nazi party.
Toying with the censors by pretending to shout swear words only to stop before he completed them.
And last but not least, accidentaly saying "f-ck", finding out it didn't get censored by asking a phone contestant, and proclaiming that since there was no chance he could ever work on television again, for everybody to tune in for the last show because he had something big planned.
And what happened for the last show? For the first time ever the show had a live studio audience - Filled with network ten television executives who flew from Sydney, presumably to subdue whatever HotDogs had planned.
Of course thats not a 100% accurate transcription of what happened, and therefore not suitable for the wiki.

It's October now and the show's still on, so I guess whatever happened was resolved over the course of Big Brother or something. I like Radiohead 06:15, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This show is an absolute fass[edit]

I am personally going to to start a movement to have this "Supposed" game show closed down. I have watched this show on many an occasion and also rang (well at least attempted ) to ring in for the competitions only to find that this show and the subsequent station are insulting mine and everyone elses intelligence by not actually taking calls for questions unless the game timer or game is either over or nearly over. It is a major fass and I intened to make it clear to all the public what is happening. To Hotdogs and Rob how can you two consciencesly do this show knowing it is basically a big rip off. I strive to expose you two and this show for the ridiculous thing it is.I find it curious to see that this TV cahnnel will happily do a story on the Police having cameras to revenue raise and yet this very show is doing the very same......I will expose you and this show for what it is until such time as it is removed from TV.

I really hope you succeed Samatic 19:27, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Me too. Bronzey 11:54, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The best way to get rid of it is by not watching. And definitely not calling!! Asa01 20:19, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Channel 10 has bought the late show with david letterman from channel nine (coincedently the late show is the show that stopped being aired daily on Nine so they could air Quizmania which is just as bad) so hopefully in the new year they replace hotdogs with the late show, some actual entertainment!--President Elect 02:53, 25 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Detailed fans of TUGS[edit]

Anyone take detailed notes of every episode ?
I have (not all episodes), and would like to exchange data with anyone out there.
I have also created computer programmes that help solve some of the games.
