{{edit semi-protected}} Could you please rephrase Katherine and Elena's doppelganger relationship? Katherine was first (much older) so Elena would be her doppelganger correct? Also would it be accurate to say how the show made mention that Katherine herself is a doppelganger, so one could surmise that another Vampire exists that Katherine is the doppelganger of?

- Unless the other one was human and is now dead? In next weeks promo, Katherine tells Elena if you don't want to die, become a Vampire. Maybe only humans can be sacrificed?
