Love me Harder[edit]

Souldn't Love me Harder stand under 'As feature artist' instead under lead artist? It is on her album. Niels de Groot (talk) 12:52, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

can I ask why do some featured songs also stand as leading singles Nombuso Ncube (talk) 08:25, 23 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Call Out My Name[edit]

Shouldn't "Call Out My Name" be considered a single as it was sent to radio stations? Johnnyboytoy (talk) 20:28, 7 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello![edit]

There is currently a discussion taking place at Talk:Taylor Swift singles discography#Singles chronology regarding the classification of radio singles. Tree Critter (talk) 10:30, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Die For You Remix[edit]

The original came out seven years ago. It was rereleased as a remixed single so surely this second release should be separate from the original on the singles discography?!?!? Thurlow0391 (talk) 12:39, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Should I add these chart positions?[edit]

In this edit that I made, Ss112 reverted my edit and reverted it once before saying this exact same edit had already been reverted and I should get consensus. I am pinging frequent users who work on content for the Weeknd: @Doggy54321: and @DovahDuck: do you guys agree with my edits? France has more peaks than Denmark and US R&B/HH and US R&B peaks should be there since he is an R&B artist. Thank you for your time. 172.58.27.69 (talk) 15:38, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You just posted on my talk page saying you "do not understand why [I] reverted [your] edit [...] saying it has been reverted before". I said that because it's true. How did you forget that just last week, you made the same edit replacing chart positions here on the same IP range you're editing from right now, which I reverted? You've just made the edit again, which is disruptive. It doesn't matter how many entries he's had on the US R&B/Hip-Hop chart. Those are component charts that aren't necessary when an artist has had a successful international career like the Weeknd has. Those charts were removed from the article years ago. Changing The Idol episode soundtracks to compilations[edit]

The Idol episode soundtracks should be re-classified as streaming-exclusive compilations (as seen on other artist's discography pages like Taylor Swift or Jonas Brothers). The Weeknd has never referred to them as official EPs but rather as an informal dropping of songs weekly. No secondary source has referred to them as official EPs either. They have no physical release and are streaming-exclusive. At 2-3 songs each, they are too short to chart on Billboard album charts as an EP. Given the lack of sources referring to them as anything more than streaming-exclusive compilations, they should not be considered official EPs. Flabshoe1 (talk) 16:43, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

EPs such as Scary Hours 2 were also too short to chart on the Billboard 200 but we still consider it an EP. An EP is classified as a collection of songs that are less than an album but more than just a single. Traditionally they are 4-6 tracks, but having 2-3 does not discount them or change their classification. Also if we’re going down that route 2-3 tracks are not nearly enough to consider it a compilation. I for one have no idea why he didn’t just go with the traditional soundtrack album, but still, he’s releasing it in an EP format so we’re going to classify it as such. Also the fact that they are streaming exclusive currently could change. We have no insight if he’s going to drop CD or Vinyl releases for each episode or if he’s going to end up dropping all songs together eventually. For now, what we have now is fine and it’s better not to confuse things further by trying to get too technical. Zvig47 (talk) 02:45, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

the idol song's shouldn't be called EPs[edit]

They aren't EP so why are classifying them as such. they are "single packages" if you will, they're not singles but they definitely not extended plays. maybe under "other charted songs" bro idk but to call them EPs is wrong, on Apple Music the title is The Idol Episode 4 (Music from the HBO Original Series) - Single. same goes for Spotify and YT Music who list them as singles. they are not being released as EPs rather a collection of songs from today's episode, not an ep. im bad at articulating but i know what im saying. 197.91.163.45 (talk) 23:52, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

They are EPs. Any release of music more than 1 track is an EP. They are traditionally 4-6 tracks, but 2-3 track releases are still known as EPs. A “single package” is literally an EP. I don’t know why you have a problem with listing them as such. 24.179.114.78 (talk) 17:58, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Rolling Stone" ans "The Birds, pt. 1"[edit]

Should we consider these two songs as promotional singles for Thursday? We count "Initiation" as a promotional single for Echoes of Silence, and these two songs preceded the release of Thursday. AskeeaeWiki (talk) 00:28, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
