I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Wyatt Family (professional wrestling)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 21:48, 8 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

He was seemingly let go from the family on WWE TV because Bray "fixed" him and gave him a reason to go solo. Should be classed as a former member now?PeterMan844 (talk) 18:36, 2 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

PeterMan844 - not yet. He may be leaving, or the Wyatts are all separating, but it is not confirmed. Can't we wait until one or all of the Wyatts actually appears live? What's the hurry? starship.paint ~ regal 08:13, 4 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure.PeterMan844 (talk) 00:05, 7 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have a bad feeling that Luke and Erik well turn on Bray Eliskuya2 (talk) 02:40, 11 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Let's wait and see. starship.paint ~ regal 09:50, 11 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

They are still technically a faction, even if they do enter singles matches.PeterMan844 (talk) 09:05, 31 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, all of them have returned on their own. They're done. It's unclear when exactly they disbanded because they disbanded off TV without a breakup moment, so I'm putting a range of dates. starship.paint ~ regal 12:06, 11 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

about the "concept"[edit]

we don't need that, I seen old school tag teams(Team E and C, hardy boyz ect), so don't try add it to the wyatt's , that don't need "Concept", so don't add that there, its waste of time, Eliskuya2 (talk) 16:06, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Eliskuya2 - It's actually fine if it's reliably sourced. Describing the characters is useful information to readers. Why read results if we don't even know who they are? The problem is, no sources -> WP:Original research -> remove. If someone adds sources, then it is fine. starship.paint ~ regal 09:50, 11 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
exactly starship paint!, so we don't need it after all Eliskuya2 (talk) 11:01, 11 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
We have a section in The Undertaker about his characters. I think it's fine, The Family uses a very unique gimmick, we can talk about it better than Edge & Christian, The Hardys or the Wolves. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 13:27, 12 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'd prefer the section to be titled "Gimmick" rather than "Concept", but that's just my personal opinion. A handful of wrestlers have such sections, including Daniel Bryan, Undertaker and CM Punk. The Authority has a comparable "Concept" section. It does need sources, but since their gimmick is unique I do support the section's inclusion.LM2000 (talk) 21:39, 12 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I think the used used Evolution as milestone. The concept was to create two future stars (Orton and Batista) and used the same word. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 22:01, 13 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Basically all WWE performers are using gimmicks, not concepts. Even when they use their real names, they are still acting.PeterMan844 (talk) 09:32, 13 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If it's for a person, I prefer Persona. If it's a group, then I'm not sure. Gimmick is wrestling jargon. Even Characters would be better IMO. Just to be clear, I don't object of the idea of a Concept / Characters section. Things just have to be sourced - like what I did for the Shield (professional wrestling). Also, let's not have too many details - there's just too much about the ring entrance, some of which probably can't be sourced. starship.paint ~ regal 12:25, 13 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, you're right Starship. We should limit jargon wherever possible, so I'll drop my complaint over the name of the section header.LM2000 (talk) 21:25, 13 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Gimmick sounds right, but I'll leave it to starship, but thanks everyone's ideas :)Eliskuya2 (talk) 14:08, 14 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Rowan's injury![edit]

Technically, Rowan is still a member of the stable, despite being off TV.PeterMan844 (talk) 15:01, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Picture replacement[edit]

At what point in time do you think we should judge it as proper to replace the picture including Erick Rowan to a newer one including Braun Strowman?

Ideally they reunite, bringing Erick back as a 4th Horseman or something, so everyone can join. But assuming it's just these new three, what should they accomplish or how long should they be together for it to be proper?

Also, if we're going to be showing past members anyway, could we possibly find a picture that includes Daniel Wyatt as well? Ranze (talk) 02:16, 8 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Big Red[edit]

@1Sire: please do not remove properly cited nicknames for members of the family such as you did in Special:Diff/682686633 particularly without properly explaining what you are doing in your summary. Ranze (talk) 08:25, 25 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Rowan as Vengeance[edit]

Was tonight the first time that he was assigned this moniker? I missed the preceding Smackdown so was not sure. Have they used "the face of" yet? Bray simply used Destruction/Desolation/Fear and appears to have dropped "the face of" for efficiency. Ranze (talk) 03:14, 27 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Patriarchal[edit]

I believe JBL just used this adjective to describe the family amidst announcing the match against Dreamer/Dudleys, should we discuss that aspect? Does that make Bray the father? I don't remember if there were parental references prior to this. Ranze (talk) 02:11, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

From Wikipedia: Patriarchal "chief or father of a family". No relationship, only Wyatt has the power as the Patriarch of the Family. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 02:16, 1 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

RANDY ORTON[edit]

Randy Orton in smackdown taping did say he will join the Wyatt. (There no questions if he wanted to join or what) — Preceding unsigned comment added by BusriderSF2015 (talkcontribs) 00:22, 2 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
