What happened to the southbound traffic before 1995? Lugnuts (talk) 10:16, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Prior to 1995 the current northbound bridge (built 1963) carried traffic in both directions. It was 3 lanes each way and severely congested. After the erection of the second bridge adjacent, the 1963 bridge became one-way with increased capacity. DWaterson (talk) 20:56, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
