2009 Turkey Race crash[edit]

I felt it was necessary to make an edit here because many in the cycling world (indeed anyone who had seen the footage of the race) believe that Bos caused the crash. Here are the changes I have made:

"Bos allegedly caused the crash" ---> "Bos caused the crash, by grabbing the left shoulder of Impey with his right hand. Impey then proceeds to immediately crash to the left, into the barrier, next to Bos. Whether or not it was Bos' intention for Impey to crash is a point of contention. "

Bos clearly caused the crash, either intentionally or unintentionally. Even the website of the Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey states this (http://www.presidentialtourofturkey.com/default.aspx), as it says " As he prepared for the sprint, Impey was pulled down by former track sprinter Theo Bos (Rabobank) who put his right hand on the shoulder of the yellow jersey and created the crash."

I have added the following sentence: "Lance Armstrong posted on his Twitter feed, "Bos doesn't even get disqualified. Pitiful. He deserves a long suspension." " —Preceding unsigned comment added by M0rt (talkcontribs) 08:05, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
