This page was created to disambiguate the present Sir Thomas Chaloner from the Thomas Chaloner (naturalist) his cousin who wrote the 1584 work A Short Discourse of the most rare Vertue of Nitre (Gerald Dewes, London). Most of the edit history upon Sir Thomas the Governor of the Courtly College (subject of the present article) remains with the naturalist's article.
