I've pondered whether to mention what I currently know about Thomas's descendants. Given Thomas's well-documented connection to JMW Turner, I think it probably is important to do that. There is no doubt that Thomas married and that (at the very least) he consequently had three stepchildren. There is also no doubt that those children took his surname when he married, as that's how I happen to have it today! Whether Thomas was the father of Marias children (or not) is still a bit of a mystery though. Overall I think it is worth mentioning what we currently know. What I've documented so far is completely verifiable via Census and Births/Marriages/Deaths records. If anybody else can add to this story, of Thomas and Maria, that would be very helpful.Hethurs (talk) 20:20, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
