Removing the Copy-Pasted Material[edit]

I haven't investigated thoroughly, but a quick Google search shows that parts of this article were simply copied and pasted from here: http://www.uncsa.edu/pressreleases/releases2013/March2013/HSCommencement.htm and also here http://www.aate2013.com/keynote-events/4574653699 . I have removed the offending sections. There might still be more. Bobnorwal (talk) 18:09, 20 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The "Intensely passionate about theatre ..." paragraph is also here: http://www.disney.com.au/tlk/media/TLK_Media_Kit_v4.pdf, which seems likely to be the origin. Until I saw that, it was possible that the many websites with the exact phrasing might have got it from Wikipedia as that para. has been on the page since 31 January 2011, almost 3 years.
• The same edit here by Chase5168 (talk · contribs) also removed 3 of 4 refs. So sourced content was replaced with copy-vio and un-sourced PR type text
• An earlier edit here by Nycity123 (talk · contribs) removed apparently sourced text (it's behind a paywall) about the "failure of Treasure Planet", added 'promotional' text and also damaged a ref, which they then removed entirely! I would describe these edits as 'whitewashing'.
• Interesting that these are those editors only edits to WP.
It should be possible to restore the original text and esp. the sources, entirely. 220 of Borg 13:40, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
