Removed the following comment from the article, which appears to have been added in after it was originally written. This appears to be an individual user's opinion regarding the subject, and as such is not appropriate for articlespace.

Roman Catholic schools generally discriminated on the basis of religion, giving places to children of the Catholic faith, since religious values was the raison detre for Catholic schools. The nuns founded mission schools in Asia and Africa to spread Christianity throughout the world. If Master Turner were a Catholic, he would most likely have been admitted readily. If he were willing to listen to Christian teachings, even if he weren't baptized he would be allowed to attend if he paid tuition. If he was not willing to pay, to obey, or to learn about Catholic teachings, he would have surely been sent elsewhere. The essence of privatization is acceptance of individual differences.
