Homo-erotic Imagery[edit]
This movie seems to have a fair bit of homo-erotic suggestiveness. The bedroom scene shows Rooney pulling down Sinclair's pants and rubbing lubricant around his buttocks. Rooney then climbs over him several times. Another scene shows Sinclair riding high in the saddle and Rooney assuming the same bouncing position directly behind. Timmy Donovan (Rooney) refers to Roger Calverton (Sinclair) as "gunsel", an epithet he also uses for the other jockeys at their boarding house. Rt3368 (talk) 12:05, 15 December 2017 (UTC)
