Untitled[edit]

The Student Revolutionary Strike Force (SRSF) adopted the song "Something in the Air" as a theme song in 1982 at its convention held at Modesto Junior College, Modesto California. To this day, no SRSF members have suggested replacing the theme song with a different ditty so thus it remains, to this day, a veritable rallying cry for the SRSF. And a mighty fine tune it is.68.13.60.210 (talk) 00:33, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Revision as of 18:16, 22 January 2011 by 83.168.3.226: I don't think the paragraph stating Nathan Morley's point of view adds anything of significance to the article. He has no standing as a music critic and his opinion that Accidents is the bands best song is irrelevant. And arguably incorrect. I think it should come out. The Magic Christian: I don't want to edit the article, because I could be wrong...[edit]

But I'm pretty sure the first time I heard "Something in the Air" was at the end of the film The Magic Christian. For many years, I thought Something in the Air was a Bad Finger tune........But if I'm correct, then the primary author of this note could include it. And if I'm wrong, that'll just add to my private shame...... Bill Abendroth (talk) 23:28, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

D'OH! Earlier in the article, The Magic Christian is mentioned---I was only looking at "Popular Culture." I didn't realize the song was written specifically for the film. My bad. Bill Abendroth (talk) 23:34, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Andy 'Thunderclap' Newman - why no Wiki of his own?[edit]

Andy Newman just died (March 29, 2016). Not covered in citable media so far, perhaps because in part because he has no Wikipedia page of his own. He certainly fulfils the notability criteria. I do not propose to start one or to get enmeshed in the request procedure as Wikipedia doesn't pay enough. But I hope somebody will rectify this.
