rewrite[edit]

This article needs a complete rewrite. Nearly every word of it is just describing the plot and the alternate universe, there is nothing about how the books were received by the public or anything else relating to reality. Large sections of it could probably just be removed and it's appalling that an article this long that has been on-wiki for such a long time only has four sources and one of them is just Google maps. Fforde Fair[edit]

What happened to the Fforde fair? 2603:7080:6238:F90C:6C8B:7791:32BB:C53F (talk) 13:38, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Maps as source[edit]

Is there any way of listing something in Wikipedia as "not proven but probably true"? I refer to the use of Google Maps as a source. The only thing I see wrong with it is that Swindon BC could possibly have some other reason for thus naming their streets. Possible, since coincidences happen, but not very likely. Odd also that very nearby there is a Hardy Close joining with Egdon Close. But yes, something conclusive from Swindon BC on the matter would be better. Unless Next fans prefer living with uncertainty! Richonthegade (talk) 12:31, 12 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
