Timothy seems to have been a low bit criminal setup for these crimes[edit]

The dude was innocent. The only evidence (A hair) only matched to black males not necessarily specifically to him. And it isn't hard to get hair and plant it in clothing. Re the semen they found, there too, there was no direct match. Circumstantial evidence. And don't forget the blazing gun, the fact the he supposedly logged the locations where he was visiting when he left his half way house, however, he want to such extent to hide his identity otherwise, why would he make it so easy to track him down. He was in half way house after being released from jail for low level, petty, non-violent crimes, but he was DUMB enough to log into the half-way house files that he was visiting regions (where he would then kill people). Nonsense. They claim he followed women around malls to pick his target, but there is zero video evidence of this, only speculation on the part of detectives and DAs. They also claim The But again another poor person setup for crimes they did not commit. And he was executed over this. RIP to the victims, I hope the real killers are found and executed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:2000:DDD1:4900:88C8:89C1:A7DE:D0C6 (talk) 12:29, 6 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled[edit]

I just finished the initial creation of this page. Anyone with additional information, especially a more complete biography, or a mugshot, please help. F-451 (talk) 04:25, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Copyedit[edit]

I copyedited the article for consistency, style, punctuation, etc. It still has considerable room for expansion, especially related to the first-time use of DNA evidence for conviction and David Vasquez's wrongful conviction. I've added appropriate cleanup tags. --*momoricks* (talk) 04:42, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Updates to increase detail and broaden referencing[edit]

I've made some substantial changes to the page to incorporate more details of Spencer's victims and to add a new section addressing media relating to the murders and popular culture references. I've also incorporated information from a broad range of references including media articles and appeals court judgments.

I added a photo of Spencer which appears in numerous websites, but unfortunately have been unable to verify the actual copyright owner. There don't appear to be any alternative photos of Spencer available on free access.

My feeling is that additional information regarding David Vasquez's free pardon on the basis of contradictory DNA evidence would be better placed in a separate page under his name. DuchessofNewTown (talk) 18:43, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
