Contradicts other Wiki articles[edit]

The Wiki articles on Edgartown and the Province of Massachusetts Bay contend that Dukes County, NY absorbed Martha's Vineyard in 1683 and the Island remained under the jurisdiction of NY until 1691, when it was absorbed by Dukes County, Province of Massachusetts Bay. 2602:304:CDA6:51B0:FC75:22F8:45FD:A1D4 (talk) 02:53, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
