Mil-Stub[edit]

All reputable research into the subject indicates that these attacks originate from within the Chinese military and are aimed at the networks of defense contractors and the U.S. military. Thus, I'm mil-stubbing the article. Tzaquiel 18:09, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What reputable research? The only "source" of information right now are from the main stream media which know as much about this issue as you or me. You can't blame someone until you have proof or it's just fear mongering and sensationalistic headlines. The attacks are believed to be the result of actions by People's Liberation Army Unit 61398. [3]

Adding on User:Tzaquiel point: 'believed' by whom? The ref[3] only links to a webpage introducing Unit 61398 (which has been already referenced to the wiki page), instead of any supporting evidence. The only piece of information I can direct to is a Twitter page. Not solid enough in my opinion. -- by by July 19, 2020

January 2015 pruning[edit]

Given the writing style and lack of inline sourcing, my guess is that there was a high school assignment to expand this article. I've removed most of that material. The article should be expanded, but with better writing and proper sourcing. OhNoitsJamie ^Talk 15:11, 8 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
