Marian Perspectives

On the right hand side of the article there is a summary indicating Mary's chronology, etc. In that section there is something called "Marian Persprectives" which is mis-spelled. Spouse of the Holy Spirit

I think it would be a good idea if there could be at least a stub on the marian title of spouse of the Holy Spirit. This is probably one of the most unusual marian titles, and it is often among the most difficult to understand, and therefore it might well deserve additional research in order to show how it has been interpreted by theologians. The reason Mary is titled Spouse Of the Holy Spirit, is because in both the Nativity stories in Sts. Matthew & Luke, Mary Conceived Christ By the Power Of the Holy Spirit. Also, Mystical Marriage is common among many Saints. See Bridal Theology.--Splashen (talk) 01:21, 21 August 2015 (UTC)

References, tables and feasts

A few things in this article need to be fixed:

• What is a title? I am not sure the article addresses that. Of course "dogmatic titles" are mentioned and that is correct, once there is a formal dogmatic, or doctrinal element, then we have a title. Then there are "formally declared" titles (e.g. by a pope, etc.), and these usually have a Marian feast associated with them. Then we enter the unknown zone of devotional titles, for which many red links exist in this article with no references. So when does a devotional title become a title? If on the way to the Space Station two astronauts say a prayer saying "Mary protector of all astronauts help us" does that create a title because they prayed higher up? So when does a popular devotional title qualify as a title for this article? There need to be some standards here, and all these red links (many of them just added by IPs over time) need to get cleaned up, and standards for inclusion need to be introduced.

• Title table structure the table structure for the titles is pretty confusing. And in between there there just lines like "Most Pure" with no references. I suggest clearing that table.

• Art table structure the artistic part of the article has actual value, but the presentation seems shaky, and very incomplete. There are many Eastern Orthodox elements missing.

There is need for much work here, and as a start, help in verifying or repairing or removing those redlinks will be appreciated.

Next question: Does it make sense to combine this article with the Marian feast days article? Given that "key titles" always have a feast, and that each feast is almost always associated with a title that may make sense. But then it may make too long and complicated an article anyway. Ideas? Another issue: Patronage of the Blessed Virgin Mary has many titles which are also red links, and those have no refs at all. It will take major effort to check all of these, add references, etc. So as these red links get cleaned up those will need attention, and help will be appreciated. Translation of Mary's titles in Islam

While reading the section "Titles of Mary in Islam," I noticed that the Arabic word for God is translated to Allah. Since Allah simply means God in Arabic, shouldn't this word be translated to God?
