Hyperbolic hyperbole?[edit]

What's a "hyperbolic paraboloid" shape? The arch shape is either a hyperbola or a parabola, how can it be both? A paraboloid is a surface of rotation for a parabola, so that would be a dome rather than an arch anyway. Andy Dingley (talk) 11:11, 16 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
