This article has some nice stats, but it uses 1998 as a starting point and lists men and women separately... [1]: W: 11% to 7&, M: 42% to 37% (Overall probably about a 4.5% (absolute) reduction if the number of men and women is taken to be similar..). Someone might find a useful way to incorporate it into the article.
