This is incredibly biased for Carolla, it could of been taken off an advertisment.

An ironic comment now, given the article's current content. Perhaps "too late" was more accurate than the creators had hoped? --BDD 21:34, 6 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

It's a good idea, but there's two problems with it. Firstly, the writers just aren't that good. Secondly, Carolla isn't very good at scripted things. The show's funny parts are when he just goes off on a rant about something for 5 minutes.--Sycomonkey 17:07, 18 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I'm thinking a better name would have been "Too Lame with Adam Carolla." He's nothing when he's not being Jimmie Kimmel's Ed Norton.

I disagree. The Adam Carolla Project is some of the funniest television around. Someone should write that article. I might in a bit here. --Sycomonkey 17:02, 25 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The Lightning Round was not invented by the show's producers. Any Loveline listener can tell you that Adam had been doing that bit on there for YEARS. Billdorr 08:04, 29 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Has it been cancelled?[edit]

The current lead paragraph discusses the show in past tense. Has it been cancelled? If so, when? Uucp 17:37, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

as funny as corolla can be, this was one of the unfunniest shows of all time....almost unwatchable...yet i watched every episode. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mfbinc (talkcontribs) 19:37, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Need to find a reliable source for this but it was common knowledge at the time that this show was a low-budget attempt to fill the post-Daily Show slot for a few weeks while The Colbert Report was getting ready to start production. They told the creators from the start that it had no chance of becoming a permanent series. The result was a show that attracted little effort or promotion because it was literally designed to just go through the motions and fill time.
