Title change[edit]

HI guys. I saw this page had been created overnight on the Tornadoes of 2017 page. However, I think it would be best if this page were called February 28-March 1, 2017 tornado outbreak. This would also fit in with the other tornado outbreak pages on here as well. I agree with the pages creation, of course, as loads of significant tornadoes occurred, but it would be better if it was renamed imo. Hurricane Layten (talk) 12:04, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose@Hurricane Layten: There was recently a consensus to rename the tornado outbreak pages "Tornado outbreak of [insert dates of outbreak here]", which I think is much more better then the previous title. --MarioProtIV (talk/contribs) 12:23, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm, it might make things easier for newer readers, but i think it would be quite confusing for old time editors here @MarioProtIV Hurricane Layten (talk) 15:41, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Hurricane Layten: The gist of the rationale was 1) it makes searching for outbreaks easier and 2) it finally solved the accursed dispute over the unwieldy, choppy comma after the year that is theoretically necessary in "Month D1-D2, Year, tornado outbreak" format. B-class assessment[edit]

Not far to go. Just needs some more inline references in a couple of places and an "aftermath" and possibly "recovery" section. Ks0stm (TCGE) 19:39, 9 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
