How the water tower was supplied —from an aqueduct?— and the source that gave it such head, are inherently interesting questions. Water was distributed from the tower to the town of Ormskirk alone?--Wetman (talk) 18:05, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
All good questions! Unfortunately, the scant sources I was able to find online offer little about the history of the tower, i.e. from when it was in active use. I believe the water came from an underground reservoir. There's more on The Water Tower website, but that can't really be considered a reliable source.
