Support. Page views over the past 6 months are clear that Toyota Stadium (Texas) gets more traffic.[2] And since the Japan one opened on 2001 and the Texas one opened in 2005, the four year difference provides no evidence of long-term significance. Oppose - completely unnecessary move, per WP:AINTBROKE. The stadium's name and commonly used name is Toyota Stadium, not the awkward City of Toyota Stadium. It is disambiguated because there's another stadium with that name in Texas, but otherwise this is the correct name. — Amakuru (talk) 08:54, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose no evidence that this is actually the stadium's name. Even it's official site states it's English name is Toyota Stadium. You can't take what it is called in a World Cup or Olympic article because it's incredibly common for big events to use sponsored names or other names that differ from the locations actual name for traveller and attendee convenience (just look at any Olympic stadium list and match it up) and those are often temporary names for that event set only. All the sources for City of Toyota Stadium seem to be solely for the Rugby World Cup which falls under those rules. It's highly likely that the Rugby World Cup organisation called it City of Toyota Stadium to ensure people know where it was and not that it's just a stadium named after the automotive company. The stadium's own site doesn't even call it City of Toyota Stadium in Japanese, just simply Toyota Stadium. Canterbury Tail talk 20:47, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
