Toyota Marine[edit]

Shall we add Toyota Marine? See http://www.toyota.co.jp/marine/enterprise/index.html  Stepho  talk  21:17, 16 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't very helpful[edit]

I don't understand anything better after reading this article. So apparently in Japan some stores at named after a specific model but sell multiple models. Some are named "the Toyota Store" and only sell one model of car. Some sell a variety of models. Some are named after one model and only sell that model.

Do they actually maintain separate facilities for each of these "stores" selling a define type of car, or are these nominal businesses collected under one roof? Do they have them across the street or on a single plaza like American dealerships? Or do you actually usehave to drive miles away to compare a Corolla with a Camry if you aren't sure which one you want?

How to they fairly work it out when the car maker comes up with cars that won't sell, and other cars they have waiting lists? If you happen to own the wrong dealership, too bad for you?

It seems like a really weird and nonsensical system and I don't understand it at all, and nowhere on Wikipedia does it just give a simple explanation of how it works. Idumea47b (talk) 10:02, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
