"MNCW #002" or "MNCX #002"[edit]

I just saw a documentation on german TV about Grand Central Terminal. The car on track 61/63 was also presented and you could clearly see "MNCX #002" on its side. The narrator explains, that the "X" stands for: Not owned by railroad company. When you look closely on the picture, you can see a diffrent background behind "W". It looks like the "X" repainted by a "W"
