I started this page after reading the ThredUp report (see ThredUp in article and link). I was shocked by the size and growth of this market. I have never been on one of these sites (they mostly target women), but when I asked a few women about these sites, it turned out that most had at least "dabbled" in using them. The language describing the market was very neutral compared to the shock I felt when I learned about it.

Rather than delete my changes, please review the ThredUp report and offer constructive improvements. There is something going on here where millennial women want to either (1) nice version: consume fashion in a sustainable way Sustainable_consumer_behaviour, or (2) mean version: have products they can't afford. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Macdad7123 (talk • contribs) 15:23, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Lousy business[edit]

I am so unhappy with Tradsey. I have been buying and selling on Tradsey for my own personal use for almost 7 years. I sold an item and the seller return it because it was too small and the size measurement was on the description. She was allowed to return it with no Fault of myself and allowed 9 days to return it and now 12 days later and I still haven’t gotten my bag back. It sold on another site, but I only had 3 days to send it to the buyer, but due to my not receiving the bag back yet, I lost out on that sell as well. Not happy! I communicate with Tradsey all weekend and on Monday, trying to see if Tradsey would at least do an overnight since we both are in California so I wouldn’t lose out on the sale, and they wouldn’t do it. Now I loss $900 and is not happy. It seen like Tradsey only care about themselves, and the buyers, allowing the buyer to return an item with no reason to receive store credit they benefit, 2601:200:8102:5E10:0:0:0:653C (talk) 17:52, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
