Dubious - T2 Service[edit]

Sources differ over whether the T2 service (Aberystwyth - Bangor) is a TrawsCymru service or not. Lloyds Coaches (one of the operators) refer to it as a TrawsCymru route. However, the official TrawsCymru website does not, listing only the T4 (Newtown - Cardiff) and T9 (Cardiff Airport Express) as TrawsCymru routes.

Unless things have changed recently, the T2 service does not meet the quality standards which are core brand values of TrawsCymru (facilities like Wi-Fi are abset, for example). It has been rumored that the operators refused Optare Tempos offered to them for the service, prefering to use their own livery rather than TrawsCymru vehicles. This suggests that the T2 was intended to be TrawsCymru but due to not meeting the brand's ethos is not offically part of the network and will not be until the vehicles used are suitablly upgraded.
