Notability of this article[edit]

It has been suggested that this article should be deleted from wikipedia. I would vote against deletion because Mr Ringland is notable as a rugby player even if his political career so far has not been particularly successful.

Ringland on Tom Elliot[edit]

I just heard Trevor Ringland demand that the newly-elected leader of the UUP, Tom Elliot retract his promise never to attend a GAA match. This guy is, clearly, a huge breath of fresh air to rise above the sectarianism of Elliot and company.
