What does Serbs represent the largest non-Italian community in Trieste, near the end of the text, mean? Does non-Italian mean those without Italian citizenship (in which case it would probably be true as most Slovenes would be excluded)? Or does it mean those who are not ethnically or linguistically Italian (in which case I would find the figure surprising considering the local, indigenous Slovene community [though admittedly they are more numerous in the Karst than the city itself])?--XANIA - ЗAНИAWikipedia talk | Wikibooks talk 23:52, 7 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It would be referring to the fact that the Slovenian minority lives in Karst, not in Trieste proper. Critikal1 (talk) 04:45, 15 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
