Merge proposal[edit]

Per discussion at Talk:Triple_Crown_of_Thoroughbred_Racing_(United_States)#Merge_here it is proposed to merge this article into Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing (United States)#Sponsorship and broadcasting. User:Montanabw has noted that this was primarily a broadcast promotion and has now been defunct for over 15 years, and believes the article can be consolidated. Some background is already included in the destination section, and I have also added information about the organization's primary role today in collecting Triple Crown nominations.
